It seems like everywhere I go, everyone is selling Butterfly Pea flower. You can’t turn 5 degrees without someone selling it in one of its’ varied forms. And you know what? I’m here for it!
That’s right folks, I’m talking about Clitoria ternatea and I love her. Besides taking the edge off anxiety, she’s just beautiful. Her ruffly inflorescence is gorgeous and highly sapphic. I mean, you couldn’t pick a more appropriate name unless you were one of Georgia O’Keefe’s orchids. I wonder if Georgia knew Clitoria? My guess is no because how could she not paint her, too.
